• Collection of property taxes on real estate, personal property and centrally assessed property, pursuant to state statute.
• Distribute tax revenue to nine school districts, 13 cities and towns, 7 tax increment districts, and 325 special districts, pursuant to state statute.
• Mail original and delinquent tax notices to all property owners.
• Mail receipts upon request.
• Produce certificates of taxes due as requested.
• Administer tax deferral program pursuant to statute.
• Act as bond agent.
• Invest all available funds.
• The Treasurer is a board member for the County's retirement plan.
