Patrol Services is led by Captain Mark Fisher who is responsible for operational activities of the Patrol Services Section.
Patrol Service deputies are guided by the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office mission to provide quality service with an emphasis
on integrity, professionalism and community spirit.
Through strong partnerships with the community, deputies provide quality law enforcement service 24 hours a day, 7 days a
week, to the 176,687 residents of unincorporated Arapahoe County , the City of Centennial and the towns of Foxfield, Bennett
and Deer Trail while assigned to specific precincts and substations. Members respond to over 50,000 calls for service annually, striving to control crime and improve the quality of life for
our community. A total of 150 individuals comprise the Patrol Services Section. In addition to Bureau Chief Bruce Williamson and Captain
Mark Fisher, there are 7 lieutenants, 16 sergeants, 119 deputies and 6 member support staff. Members of Patrol Services are committed to the COMPSTAT process of community policing. Areas of responsibility are divided into 8 Precincts. Patrol lieutenants, also called "Area
Commanders", are responsible for ensuring that effective methods of crime control and quality of life strategies are initiated
in their assigned areas by rapidly deploying Sheriff's Office personnel and resources to alleviate crime patterns.
