The Animal Control Office serves all the unincorporated areas of Arapahoe County, and is responsible for enforcing the Running
at Large, Barking Dog, andLicensing Ordinance of unincorporated Arapahoe County. Unincorporated Arapahoe County Animal Control has no laws governing cats. (See Zoning
regulations for number of allowable pets). All animal bites must be reported to Animal Control. All dogs must be licensed annually in unincorporated Arapahoe County.

Violations Dogs that are not under voice command or on a leash is a violation of the Running at Large Ordinance. Any dog barking continuously
during a 20 minute period is a violation of the Nosiy Dog Ordinance.

| Citizens can trap nuisance wildlife, such as, raccoons, squirrels, rabbits, skunks, and cats. Traps are loaned up to 7 days. |

| The hospitalization of sick and injured stray animals. |
| Impoundment of stray animals. |
The pick-up and disposal of dead animals.
