The County provides employee life insurance coverage equal to one and one-half times your bases salary, up to a maximum of $200,000 for full-time employees and a maximum of $100,000 for part-time employees. Accidental Death and Dismemberment benefits are equal to the amount of the Life benefits. The County pays the full cost of this coverage. Optional Supplemental Term Life insurance is available for employees, their spouse and dependent children through CIGNA and is paid entirely by the employee through payroll deduction on an after tax basis.
