Community Resources Department

Community Resources assists needy individuals and builds strong communities through the cooperation of the citizens of Arapahoe County and the local, state and federal governments that fund the department's varied activities.

Each division provides a different and unique array of services to citizens ranging from employment and training services to assisting with down payment and closing costs on a first home. Each of the divisions aids the community and its residents in becoming stronger pieces of the Arapahoe County mosaic. Volunteer Connections, Arapahoe County's volunteer program, invites volunteers to get involved with their local government and make an impact in their community.

The budgets for these divisions are carried within Arapahoe County's General Fund, Arapahoe/Douglas Works! Fund, the Community Development Fund, and the Grant Fund.
