Helping Veterans

There are many ways that a volunteer can support the Arapahoe County Veterans Service Office, a program that advocates on behalf of veterans and their families to the Department of Veteran Affairs. Volunteer duties might include answering phones, greeting veterans and their families, sharing information and light clerical work.  This is a rewarding opportunity to serve those who served our country.

Timeframe: 3 hours per week, weekdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Qualifications:

• Age 21 or older
• Complete a written application and interview
• Pass a background check
• Attend position-specific training
