Jim Dyer page
Jim Dyer is serving his first term as Commissioner, representing District 2. He was sworn in January 2007 and his term will
expire January 2011. As Commissioner, Jim oversees the Community Resources, Special Assistant to the BOCC, County Attorney,
Communication Services and BOCC Administration departments. Jim Dyer was the Republican Senator from Senate District 26 for
six years. He has been an active part of the community and helped develop reliable and ample water supply for Arapahoe County.
He has served on the Senate Judiciary Committee, Senate Health, Environment, Welfare and Institutions, and the Senate Appropriations
Committees.
